This is a streamdump from the "The Lord of The Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring" DVD (Italian edition). It has been reported by several users that the playback gets stuck at some point. This is the chapter in which it happens. It locks at 1:36:08, and has locked there while dumping the stream as well. At the time it got stuck, the demuxer would keep on (if run with -v -v -v) displaying ------------------------------------------- Navi new pos=0x1DB119 Found NAVI packet! lba=0x1DB119 len=146 ### CELL 26: Navi: 27/1 IFO: 27/1 Navi new pos=0x1DB119 Found NAVI packet! lba=0x1DB119 len=146 ### CELL 26: Navi: 27/1 IFO: 27/1 Navi new pos=0x1DB119 Found NAVI packet! lba=0x1DB119 len=146 ### CELL 26: Navi: 27/1 IFO: 27/1 Navi new pos=0x1DB119 Found NAVI packet! lba=0x1DB119 len=146 ### CELL 26: Navi: 27/1 IFO: 27/1 Navi new pos=0x1DB119 Found NAVI packet! lba=0x1DB119 len=146 ### CELL 26: Navi: 27/1 IFO: 27/1 Navi new pos=0x1DB119 Found NAVI packet! lba=0x1DB119 len=146 ### CELL 26: Navi: 27/1 IFO: 27/1 Navi new pos=0x1DB119 Found NAVI packet! lba=0x1DB119 len=146 ### CELL 26: Navi: 27/1 IFO: 27/1 ------------------------------------------- and so on, endlessly. Looks like it's stuck there. The phenomenon, of course, happens in the dumped stream as well. Only, since the dump is bad (MPlayer never went past that spot even while dumping) you cannot play beyond it, while in the actual DVD if you seek past it playback goes on perfectly. It is worth noting that the disc is good, and so is the DVD drive, since the disc plays smooth in both standalone DVD players and Winblows DVD playback software. I hope this helps. Matteo Giani
