First of all, the MPlayer team has done a simply amazing job. ftp://ftp.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/incoming/vipassanavid.rm MPlayer couldn't play the audio on the above file. I'm using MPlayer-cvs from a couple days ago. Video was perfect though. I crosschecked against Windows which said the file has two channels, a RealAudio 5.0 channel at 5.0Kbps, and then a RealVideo 8 channel at 29.0Kbps. I'm on RedHat Limbo beta, which has 2.4.18 kernel, a beta libc, X4.2.0, gcc 3.1, binutils 2.12.90.0.7. Athlon with Voodoo3 and ES1371 sound card using OSS drivers.
