At last after waiting forever mplayer is looking at supporting dvb subtitles. Needed support for both asap Mplayer and Mencoder.


Sorry i don't follow your forums, boards, irc etc. But use Mplayer daily for viewing and encoding with Mencoder.


Hopefully soon will be able to put these thousands of tv caps to dvd at last.

See how vlc shows them, that is how they are meant to be. Would like you to output the same and with MEncoder. Also abilty when needed to output these as normal subs with transparency available at bear (not at) bootom of the screen as with dvd subs.


These files are cut using videoredo trim&cut. As such the pts maybe be wrong as they are the same as when capped. I only trim and cut from 0mb to 50mb. Hope 50mb a file is enough for you. But are also a good test for MEncoder and Mplayer to woek with these as they are. Why i say this because ffmpeg will only complain forever must start with pts, how bad is ffmpeg not able to correct them itself.
